In Australia, the least expensive way to see the country and stay overnight is by renting a car and staying at coach camps (these are private campgrounds around the country). These campgrounds have coaches or camp-trailers for rent by the night or any length of time you wish to stay while seeing the sights around the area. Each camp-trailer has a comfortable bed, all the cooking utensils needed as well as coffee/tea pots, toaster, etc., plus a washroom. The cost for these stays is less than a motel or hotel or bed & breakfast. You get help from the owner or your fellow campers on road conditions, things to see and do, and shopping. We self-toured for 2 months doing this trip around Australia. If we had stayed in conventional housing and ate in restaurants all the time, we could have only stayed 3 weeks.Take Care Of Your Cabin Steward new. One of your best friends on the cruise will be your Cabin Steward. He, or she, will do an excellent job of making up your cabin twice a day and generally taking care of you. This is the person who will also handle any special requests you have, like if you need an iron or extra pillow. We make it a point to get to know our steward on.
